Ok final finish up on the Ruger no 1. I'm sealing the inside of the forend with Helmsman spar urethane(one more coat to go). Then its a wrap and time to start packing stuff for Tx ========== I'll alert the media.

Should a guy bring revolver and snake shot?
Gonna bring a couple of shotguns in case we shoot some skeet.
Im going to be a rolling armada of weapons heading south on the 17th.
Can you get kicked out of Texas for bringing to many guns?

I fly into San Antonio noon Friday the 13th (oops...) and have only Saturday to get out and shoot. Tony tells me I have a box of 140 gr AB's on hand that did just fine on this little oryx a few years ago. I am thinking the Jim Wisner built QD rings and bases will still be spot on with the 2-7x LRD last used. Like damn surgery just getting them on. I fly back to Korea 30 March and work a month or so then retire back to Texas and take my vacation time. Come June, when Tony finishes the year (11th), he and I will head to the place in Idaho. Dear Wife/Mom will join in July and we will stay through August. I am thinking I may put in for my Colorado elk tag in 49 which would be a slam dunk at this point as I have not pulled since 2006. Spring bear in Idaho next spring and a brown bear chase with dear wife outside Sitka is booked as well. After an azzload of work the chit is starting to align bud. More than willing for summer visitors this year. The lake can offer big chit at times. Just let me know. Rainbows as it cools are supposedly nuts. After a few years abroad dear wife does not want Speedo's and she was a swimmer. It's either chubby Italian's (she's lucky) or the rest, non appealing. Gave them up on Tony when was a one nutter at age 7. Backstroke champ that he was....
