In regards to the firearm, SN2292xx, that I had inquired about in Jan.. I did get my letter from John T. Callahan today.
The firearm was received into the Utica warehouse on June 15, 1920. It was shipped to the original consignee, E.K. Tryon, Philadelphia, Pa.,2 yrs. 4 months later on Oct. 4, 1922.
He also stated that this rifle is a 1899-A, Short Rifle..
thank ya kindly John T. Callahan, and to all that responded to the original post.
