What cerakote color is the brown one? Sorry, I jus this. If I remember correctly it is coyote tan, Reloader will know for sure as he is the one that sent them off to get coated.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

What does your 870 weigh set up like this? I have not put the scale to it but I am guessing it is around the 6 lb range, maybe a hair more.

Thanks for that info! I'm thinking I may want to red dot my 20ga and may go this route. Other option is to just use a regular 870 base and something like a TRS-25. pointer, Tom drilled and tapped my 870 youth 20...
