Up for sale is a stainless steel Marlin 444XLR chambered in 444 Marlin. It has factory laminated stocks, and a 24 inch non-ported barrel. Marlin only made these for a year or 2, and ceased production of this model in 2005. It is 100% Marlin, with the JM proofmark on the barrel. It has been fired very little, and is just about perfect. The only mark I could find on it is 1 small scratch on the lever. Good luck finding another of these, much less one in this condition. For some reason I was thinking 26, but I just measured it, and you are correct. It is 24 inches, and I fixed the description.

A good buddy of mine has one just like this one and it is a real shooter. At 100 yards it is as good as most bolt guns. It is a blast to shoot.

The only trades I'd be interested in is a Remington 700 BDL SS (not the newer SPS) in 308, or a Remington 700 Mountain LSS in 308.
