Just did our first salmon fishing trip as a family and thought I would share some pictures.

Nice!

How 'bout some details!
Where'd you fish? Your boat or guided?

Campbell River, BC (on Vancouver Island) with Coastal Island Fishing. It was a good experience, however the guide was a little hesitant to try anything different or move. Once we did (on my suggestion) we got into a lot more fish.

6 sockeye and 2 coho. We had a few more on, but I wanted everyone to reel in at least one fish, so the youngest two lost a few.

how did the kids handle the boat?-rough or calm water
only reason I ask is we went out last year and one of my boys turned a little green sick
