Saturday morning, I heard this bird gobble across a creek after I called. Called again a few minutes later and the next thing I know he's on my side of the creek and close. He got hung up at about 60 yards in some big pines and all I could see was bits and pieces of him. After about 15 minutes of strutting, drumming and spitting he made his way closer. Shot him at 37 yards. Shot him at 11:20 am. Never grew a spur on one side. His one spur was 1 1/8" beard was 10.5"

Sunday morning, I got set-up within 60 yards of this bird this before light. He flew down and with it being overcast and raining it was still pretty dark in the woods. Haven't had many fly down when it was that dark. He never made a peep. I shot him at 32 yards. Both spurs were 1" and his beard was 10".

Sorry, I didn't weigh them. The first bird was definetly heavier than the second though.

A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

Good on ya!
