Ha ha... O45 is a hell of a guy. I guess I just commented more about this stock, so he contacted me and I made the plunge. I really like the stock. Thanks again O45 and KDK, hope things are going well for you.

I didn't look thru the whole thread. Anyone done a "McWoody"? Is it a good facsimile of a classic wood look?

Guess I should have just gone to the next to last page...

Still would like opinions. Thanks.

There's several in the previous few pages of this thread. Handsome stocks, in my opinion, although I do like McMillans speckle-tone paint jobs too.

I've got a speckled custom built .280. Love the look of the stock. Thinking of building a 7x57, and thought the McWoody might give me a classic look with all the benefits of a fiberglass stock.

Any idea of the current wait time? I'm considering ordering my 1st one. Likely a 700 short action classic.

I like it, Ingwe.

I've had a McWoody on order since December and placed an order for a 60/40 Black/Orange today. Anticipation...

Prolly a .270 Redding as a .270 WCF won't fit that action.

I would really like to use this pattern on my 22br that I am currently building. Anybody have a clue on the percentages?

I sent Wildcats a PM a few days ago but I am unsure if he is still an active member.
