Ok, I'm out. Never BTDT and don't know much about shooting in general or winning and extremely little about wind... espeically at mid ranges like 600 or under. And never shot much on a range where a perfect score had never been fired at 600...mind you I never got over 199 out of 200 there either...
I will leave you wiht this, when you make it between you at the challenge, you generally win. ANd winning isn't always about knocking em all over, its about knocking the most over.
I don't doubt y'all are all great top shots at the game. You simply have totally missed the point here.
Carry on.
BY the way NPA is natural point of aim. If you aren't setting your shots up using that, and I guess not since you dont' know what it means, you might look into it. Makes offhand a LOT easier.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Ahh, the pissing match is over!
Are thumbhole stocks allowed in either class of high power rifle silhouette?

If memory serves hunting rifles must maintain their original configuration so I'm going to say no to using an after market thumbhole stock. Factory guns with thumbhole stocks may be an exception to the above. In the heavy rifle class (unlimited) they were allowed when I was shooting but there's a 10lb 2oz. weight limit. Shoot them an email. They will fix ya right up. Ask for a rule book if would like to. silhouette nrahq.org
