My wife bought me another single shot, been wanting one like this for a few years. Won't say what she paid, but it was too much :):):) Today I posted some photos on the combo-drilling forum, so no need to make this too long or picture heavy. This little thing is mechanically like brand new !! I love it.

That is a beautiful rifle.

Never mind the price, rifles like that are free. When you see something else you want, you post it right here and your money comes back to you.

BTW I think that "232" marking does mean it was proofed in February 1932. That was standard German practice.

Nice Kipplaufbuechse. Gebrueder Rempt (Rempt Brothers) was a fairly well-known maker, sort of like Gebrueder Adamy.

Wich I could find something like this, and wish I had a wife who would then buy it for me! ;-)

Besides a new old single shot rifle, what makes it so special?

Nice; very nice.

Periodically I look at the Merkel K3 Stutzens. One of these days....

The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....
