And as Pat said..those Texas pigs are tough....they can apparently soak up TTSXs....

Actually they were small pigs. I was trying to be sporting by picking a smaller target.

Thats my story, and I'm sticking to it...

ONE .577 going off is unforgettable...two at the same time? crazy

As for me, banging my head on the blind door is my excuse for missing...

That looked like it hurt. Good thing you had Rogers shine for a disinfectant.

I've only ever seen one. (And Steve was holding it when I laid eyes on it.)

Gorgeous rifle that oozes class.

I will send you my 12 bore Ugartechea slug gun with properly regulated 1 Oz Brennerke slugs. Throws multiple pairs inside 2" at 50 yards right on top of the front sight. A proven hog/deer culler.

I think you have identified sorely missing ingredients.

Sure missed getting to chew the fat with you guys, AND Jim.

Great folks at this get together, and wonderful accommodations, but you guys are like family that I only get to see once a year.

Already looking forward to the next shindig.

I do regret not making this gathering. y'all are some of the finest folks I've had the pleasure to share company with and I do include Bob.

Ed,

the pleasure was all mine. I wish you well and know you will be able to make everthing come together for you and your family. We will be in touch, I know that. If you let me tag along on a future sheep hunt of yours, it would be my pleasure grin

Be well.

Ingwe,

I'll be taking the #1 38-55 to Tennessee this April to check out another hog hunting place(hopefully one that actually keeps their word). Will report back on my findings.

But you really are welcome to use the rifle again whenever you choose.

Steve
