I may be totally off, but I bet that's pretty close. Winchester has them listed at 6lbs 12oz on their specs page. Add the 20oz scope and the few ounces in Talleys and it's 8.1. I has it in an EDGE for a spell and it was close to 7 1/2.

For anyone estimating weight, Pacnor duplicated the EW contour but the flutes are deeper, in a B&C Medalist it should weigh an ounce or two less than a stock EW, in a compact Edge, it's quite a bit lighter.

I think you're probably in the neighborhood of what it's worth, but 25 of us just scratched that itch here with the MRC group buy, fluted barrel, .260, 8 twist, green stock with black and silver splash at $1259.99. Nice rifle, and I think I would have been interested in it if I hadn't already committed to something extremely similar.
