so I am at the fun store yesterday and they had a Savage A 17 in for $429. Interesting rifle. I wonder how the accuracy is going to be with this. I am seriously thinking of picking it up.All steel appears to be nicely made

Given the problems that Savage has had with all of their 17WSM rifles so far, I think that I'm going to be a late for that party.

They're a tad high, the pawn shop I went to yesterday had two at $349.95.
