Used the "Nazi" drilling this year.. 12 ga choked F&F over 8x57 JP Sauer. Ordered by an SS officer in late 1943, delivered in Jan of 44. Got one on Sat & filled out on Sunday. Only bad part is, after a successful opening weekend, I have to sit around the rest of the month long season, while everyone else is out there having fun. A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

Good bird and nice gun. Congrats.
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

Thanks Folks. I use this gun mostly for turkeys, but have done some dove & sporting clays shooting with it also. It's also the camp gun on AK trips, that's alway handy for putting a little meat on the fire and warding off unwanted intruders.. I love the old pre-war round bottom Sauers. Not a lot of embellishment on this one, but a cartridge trap, which I like to have.

Nice bird, nice gun! I like the way the dark pad looks on the gun. Had one like that, but with a 9.3 barrel that I had to part with to pay some bills. I really liked the way it handled. I probably carried it more for the years I owned it than any of my other drillings. I'd love to find another 12/12/9.3x74R that some one would be interested in trading for another of my drillings or two. Congrats, Bfly
