I recently got this 260 back from Gre-Tan. I sent him a Sako round top L579 action that I rescued from a Browning Safari 243 salt wood stock. The action was in great shape. Broughton 5C 8" twist #3 contour, McM Sako Hunter edge. Weighs 7.5lbs as pictured. Scope mounts are difficult to find for the round top actions so rolling with the Buehlers for now.

Quit giving in inch by inch then looking back to lament the mile behind ya and wonder how to preserve those few feet left in front of ya. They'll never stop until they're stopped. That's a fact.

Those 8mm mags are pretty cool. Collectible I would think. I remember when they first came out. A local fella bought one for our whitetails. I wasn't very old at the time, maybe 16. I thought that was the coolest cartridge ever. Nice rifle Swamplord.

Marlin 17 HMR, Lakeview Oregon... Spring 2011.. Seafire jr was shooting this one... Light day.. he only accounted for about 150 sage rats or so.. Not many "sage rats" left in the Northwest 'tween you, Shrapnel and Travis?
