Mike I used to have a 257 mk5. I'll build a 25-08 one day...possibly an about in a edge.

I've always thought a .25-20 would be neat but never made it happen. Love the .358 Winchester, and have various .30s. I'll likely get a .356 before anything .25 though.

I've got the 'trio' in a pair of Sevens for the '5's (250 and 358) as well as M77s in both 30s (30-06 and 358 Norma). Got no '20' or '40' but do have several 45s.

I have had .35 caliber rifles in the past -all based on Model 1903 Springfield actions with .35 Whelen barrels screwed in to them. I should have kept at least one of them!!

A 300 savage and a 35 whelen Does anybody else have the same caliber combo and if so what is it? ...yep...and I think the calibers are a perfect complement... .257 Weatherby Remington 700 CDL for long range.... .308 Winchester Remington Model Seven Stainless/Synthetic all-around shooter .350 Remington Magnum Remington Model 7KS heavy hitter.. I have several other rifles in .308 and .350 but those are the two I use the most for hunting... I was hoping to buy a .250 Savage 7KS from one of my friends but he sold it before I knew he wanted to part with it... Bob

Among several .30 calibers [.30 carbine, .308 Win,.30-06 [5], .308 Norma (2)] the .30-06 remains my favorite. With the first two choices, a heavy bullet .308 would be easier to match trajectories with [if that is an interest].

A true sign of loony would be breaking it down into 0.025's
For example.... 20vartag, 225 win, 250sav, 275rigby, 300anything, 325wsm, 350g&h, 375h&h, 400whelen, 425wr, 450ne, 475turnbull, 500ne.
That level of rifle loony probably requires medication, though....

I have a 25 and 35 true combo. It is a Sako short action with a 257 Roberts barrel and a spare 358 Winchester barrel. Both shoot great but I admit the 257 barrel stays attached more often than not. With that combo and the way I hunt, I didn't think I needed a 30 cal.

I have two 250 savages for the 25's. My thirties are a 30 Newton, a 300 H&H, and a 300 win Mag. I don't have anything in 35 but would love to find a 35 Newton. I do have a 375 H&H and that had to count for something, right?

I've got a 257wby, 2X 300 savage, 2 30/30s, 7 30/06s, and a Whelen. The Colonel gets the most use but I like them all. A good friend swears that a man can never have too many 22s or 30/06s, I think he's onto something.

Let me think -
Remington 783 with swap barrels, .30-06 & .25-06
Remington 700 completely blueprinted, custom marvel in .257 Roberts Ackley Improved (for some reason this is my third rifle in this chambering, and the second on this action, which I consider my favorite cartridge.)
Remington 700 with swap barrels, .308 Winchester, .22-250 Remington and .22-250 Ackley
Garand in .30-06
Browning M-95 also in .30-06
A really peachy keen .35-348 Winchester Ackley Improved on a Siamese Mauser
One Browning M-71 Carbine in .348 Winchester - within 0.010" of being a .35, so close enough for government work.
Contender pistols with .30-30 and .30 Herrett barrels, and that palm pounding, knuckle busting, "Oh my gosh, do you know you're bleeding?" .357 Herrett. Proving a fool and his money are soon parted.

Guess I'm just not good at having even intervals. 22, 24, 26, 27, 30, 33, 37.. I guess my 27 is the 28 and my 33 is the 35. Or maybe my 37 is my 35.

25-35, 30-30 and 35 Rem for the leveguns
25 Souper, .308 and .350 Rem in short action Remingtons
25/06, 30/06 and 35 Whelen though the Whelen is soon to go along with a few others that I no longer use regularly.

Downsizing has left me with a 257Roberts, 7/08, 7x57R/12ga and a 358Winchester for big game rifes. If I got really serious, I could get it down to the 257Rob. and 358Win.
There is also a RAR in 30/06 as a loaner gun.

I got askeerd of the big bores, what with them maybe over penetrating. Sold all that stuff. Even the new High Wall. All I have now is the RF BB gun. -sniff- Probably won't go to Africa now.
I am..........disturbed.

.25, .30 and .35?
.257 Roberts, Ruger M77 - Easily my favorite rifle and one my girls love to shoot as well.
.300 Blackout, S&W M&P15 .30-30, Marlin 336CS .30-06, Ruger M77, Ruger MKII, Remington M700 .300WM, Ruger MKII
9mm Luger, Browning BDM, my daily carry pistol .357 Magnum, Ruger Blackhawk
.35 rifle? Nope, have a Ruger MKII .338WM and that’s good/close enough.
Coyote Hunter - NRA Patriot Life, NRA Whittington Center Life, GOA, DAD - and I VOTE!
No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.
A good .30-06 is a 99% solution.

I feel terrible. 25's: 250-3000, 257 Bob, 25-05 30's: 30-30, 308 Win., 30-06, 300 Wby 35's: NONE I'll get right on it, Sir. (.338 & 375 tho...) Would a T/C 35 Rem count?
Why does a man who is 50 pounds overweight complain about a 10 pound rifle being too heavy? SCI Life Member 4**

I owned a 25-06 700 Classic but sold it because I never used it. I stayed with the 22's instead :
700 222 Rem 700 222 Rem Mag 2 AR's 223 700 308 KS 35 Rem / H&R Camo 35 Rem / Marlin 336 35 Rem 700 358 Model 7 Stainless 358

The closest I get on the"low end" is the .260 so I guess I'm out 30-30, .308, and 300wsm cover the 30s .35 Rem. and 35 Whelan (both 7600s) George

.257 Roberts in a Mauser (Need to work on getting it refinished) .308 and .300 Win Mag A-Bolts .35 Whelen Mauser and a R77 Boat Paddle
.308 and the Mauser .35 see the most action. Bought the .35 as a "beater" and fell in love with it.
Have a Flaigs custom in .375 H&H that was willed to me by a former boss. The Fajen stock it was in was broken, so it temporarily resides in a 798 stock until I can afford an appropriate walnut stock for it. Shot one Pa whitetail with it "just because"....

As far as the 25's. My favorite is my old .25-06.. Have a .250 Savage, but only keep it because it was my father in laws..
Lots of .30's from the old .30-30 thought the 300 Wea.
No 35 but have both a .340 and .375 H & H>..
