You guys have me crying!!! The only powder I've seen of late is H50BMG. BUT I am glad someone getting powder, at least that tells powder is still being made and there is a glimmer of hope that I may get some one day.

I'm lucky... I know where there are about a dozen 8 pounders... but the price isn't cheap, the small dealer covering his shipping costs etc...$220 for 8 pounders.

I coughed up that much for an 8 pounder of H 322...

Actually Seafire that's a break as 322, 335, and most other Hogdons powder is running 30 bucks a pound here. Pistol is 21- 25 bucks a pound.

LGS today was a surprise. Primer shelves were full, looked at the powder board and WOW. Every rifle powder from Hodgdons was in 1's and 8's (Yes Varget and 4350) . All of the IMR's also. Alliant was picking up 10X, RL 15, varmint and power pistol, Bullseye and Unique was in. 1,4, and 8's in 700X, Longshot 1 & 8, Titewad 1 & 8's Tite group 1 & 8,. AR Comp was in.

Big plus was the 22 LR shelves were full, but the bricks were still 50-60 bucks.

Swifty, just curious but, do you recall the price on Unique and Bullseye? Was at the Tulsa show and saw only one dealer that had Unique and it was $35 per pound! The cheapest Bullseye was $250 per 8lbs.

I was at Tulsa on Saturday, there was one display down on the lower section who had about normal prices. All the ones I saw on the top were ripoffs.

Unique and bullseye was 23 a lb, hodgdon rifle powders were 30 per lb. and the pistol powders were running 24 per. Didn't look at the 8's but the 4's were running 85.00.

I bought a pound of 3031 at $32 per pound. I think from here on out I am going to start telling the store managers that I'm only buying at under $30 per pound.

H4350 has been fairly reliable in my area. Good thing as my 243 loves it. Now pistol powder on the other hand...
