ENVIRONMENTAL BULLETIN!

The world’s oil reserves are complex blend of slippery and flammable substances. They affect the earth in so many ways.

For example, they keep water and other things apart from each other, lubricate the earth’s surface and submersed land areas to ensure continental drift, reduce wear in substrates and tectonic plates, prevent chemical breakdown of the earth’s ground layers, keep gravity from sticking, and protect the earth’s core from overheating, which improves its ability to move through space. It manages to do this over an ever changing and unpredictable temperature range.

As you can see, oil does a lot more than just lubricate.
