Just trying to help a member out. I fire formed over 800 - 22-250 AI brass for under $50.00 using the blue dot, cream of wheat method.

Load book loads uses a lot more powder than the 8 to 10 grains of blue dot you use and a lot harder on barrels fire forming with load book loads

I use a good book load of a fast burning rifle powder to form all of my loads. I have or have had 5 different Ackleys in the last 30 years. I do know a little about Ackleys. If you're going to use pistol powder...make sure you are careful and prudent. P.S. Don, I am not going to accept any more free gifts from you until I can do something for you. powdr
