Pard and I hooked 20 today.

Sadly enough, neither of us had the foresight to pose with an open mouth catching flies, nor a Joe Dirt wig.

You really get after it!

Laffin'!!!!

(Addendum: Didn't mean to run the Joe Dirt Scumbag off!) Laffin'!

Slow day, only landed over 20 victims.

Pard saw my crummy late this evening and hiked towards the first hole...just in time to gun a frame for me.

Woulda been nice to have a wingman today,if only for posterity. Though I always grind harder, when solo and the numbers show.

Still waiting for my first 40" Spring Fish of the year.

Mebbe tomorrow.

Film at 11:00.

Cool fish and pic Hank. Wish I could be chasing steelhead right now, but it's a long drive to where they are hangin' out.

We fish alot out here on the Olympic Peninsula in Wa st. I haven't much in the last couple of years due to some bad shoulder problems but had surgery about 10 weeks ago but I'm on the mend and plan to be hitting it hard this winter. Here is a picture from a few years ago.

Fishing is great (and cheaper!) physical therapy for the shoulder. I had surgery 3 yrs ago and couldn't hold a beer and a rod at the same time! That's what rod holders are for!

Good luck with recovery.

Landed 17 yesterday.

It's REALLY a fhuqking shame that Joe Dirt got ascared and hung it up,as she was on an EPIC fhuqking run of oblivious hilarity!

Laffin'!

Still no 40" yet this Spring.

Weird.

A few hatchery steelhead from WA OP rivers

A pink San Juan worm works great as well as swinging purple string leeches on switch rod

I had a job once. Laffin'!

Oh PLEASE do tell about Joe Dirt's "role" in hauling someone elses's bounty around,as a Truck Driver Of The Sea. Embellish as you need/must and really make it "count". Say you are the "Captain"! Then elaborate on the IFQ's volume, that isn't your's either. Laffin'!

Unleashed my Secret Weapon yesterday and let her have her way. Shot a bunch of stuff with 1DX(google it) only to realize that LR3 won't read the files and LR5 is on my laptop at work. Mainly shot video yesterday, but did bang away a smidge Old School with a lowly Canon P&S.

Had The SUPER Secret Weapon out a coupla days prior, right in The Peanut Patch.

Then sometimes you just rock a Double, for giggles.

MUCH looking forward to even more figments of your Imagination and conjuring of your Pretend,as you wax eloquent on all the things Joe Dirt almost did!

I'm crying I'm laughing sooooooooooooo fhuqking hard.

Wow +P+!!!

(Addendum: for 'ka)

Nope and nope.

I can like a Clacker purty good and feesh the approach more than a little hard. Ooops...didn't mean to horn Joe Dirt up! Laffin'!

More deviation of the Theme.

Tooling for a High Water Slaughter.

Too many feesh,to sort through, these last few days. You'd think it get old...but it don't.(grin)

Hell...knowing me,I'll go catch some more this afternoon.(grin)

(Re-addendum: For Joe Dirt)

Joe Dirt,

I'll feign my "surprise" that you are a Hatchery Dog Dick, that "gets" to scrub floors on her "good" days. Laffin'!

Also VERY "surprised" that you are not the "Captain" of your "esteemed" vessel, nor was there an IFQ Tally mentioned, even in passing. Re-laffin'!

Though I do in actuality Dream of one day making it to Alaska before I die,I'm enough of a Realist to know that such things are beyond my modest means. I do wish however, that I had the vocabulary to articulate how low on my Wish List a "tour" of a fhuqking Fish Hatchery is! Laffin'!

Here's to you doing your "best" and the sweet "satisfactions" that must be your's,basking in such a "glow".

Laffin'!

Bless your heart!

Actually I raise fish for all user groups, and we are supported by commercial salmon fisherman that pay a voluntary tax to help us operate. Come to Ketchikan sometime and I will happily give you a hatchery tour and show you the operation. :-)

Real nice fish btw!

Slow day yesterday, never got streamside until the late evening and then for less than 2 hours.

Bumped into better than a dozen and was solo for most of it,so the pics are junk and not all Victims cooperated. The weather was sporty and it shoulda cost me a camera!

Wheels up this afternoon, back to The Salt Mine...ended up landing well over 100 Steelhead for the R&R myself,so it weren't a bust.

Next pass should be even better,in both volume and sizing.

Film at 11:00.
