I recently replaced my 2 Leupold FX-3 6X42 scopes to 2 Trijicon 3-9X40 duplex Green Dot they work real well at DARK THIRTY for these older eyes!

I have the Accupoint 1-4 w/ green triangle post reticle on an AR. I prefer it over all others that I have tried. Very clear and bright and extremely rugged.

AcuPower and AcuPoint are 2 different flavors. AcuPoint uses tritium for reticle or dot illumination.
AcuPower, which the OP is questioning is a close cousin to the Leupold VX-R. Reticle illumination is via a CR2032 battery housed on the scope.
I never thought I'd grow up to be a grumpy old man, but I did, and I'm killin' it.
