I don't carry either of these knives every day, but I still use them frequently after owning them a bunch of years. The Puma I bought in Germany in around 1964. The Buck I've had for more than 25 years and still carry it when appropriate. Both are still as functional as they were the day I bought then.

Sorry, 6.5...in this Forum that would be called "a good start." grin When they won't fit on 30 or so tables that size it's time to think about thinning!

Tom,
That Puma is gorgeous. One of my closest friends and mentors has an Eye Brand that is similar.

How 'bout a pic with it nestled between a couple of Miller rifles?? wink

I have some knives, but don't really have one that I carry every day. The term, "EDC" gets a bit shop worn on the forums.
Today, I have a ProTech auto in my pocket. Yesterday, it was a Spyderco Mule Team, worn cross draw in a Larry Parson's pancake sheath. Tomorrow it will be something else.

Gee Sam, I was thinking EDC meant one carried EVERY DAY. I'm just a tad of a knife whore but will admit my EDC changes through out the day. And now that I'm retire and more at home it's got'tn busy. For example, picking yesterday:

I got up and threw a John Llyod folder in my pocket and went to the store,
Got home threw on a pair of Carharts and stuff in my "yard knife", a Gerber, and did yard work for 4 hours,
Got cleaned up, dressed for a HOG dinner ride and clipped on my Piranha P1

I have a drawer full of knives that get carried regularly. Everyone has a special draw to me.

Just checked..... didn't have a knife, stopped typing, got up and got a knife. Grabbed the German Bull my wife's uncle gave me, not sure why that one.

Can't think of many reasons why I wouldn't have "abuse folder" clipped in my pocket. For now it's a kershaw leek because I like the size/style. I'd be willing to switch to a better version of it as far as edge holding goes. That said its USED. Strip wire clean out a horses hoof cut whatever needs cut.

Almost always have a pocket knife in my other pocket. It was a 4 blade congress buckcreek for over 10 years. Lost it. Now I just use a nice pocket knife and have a few I carry. Normally it's a smaller two blade trapper.

I don't carry a fixed blade everyday so couldn't call one that. I do have two that get used/Carried often a Ingram slim and Joel Clark b&t.
