Another vote for the Glock 19. I carry mine every day.

I have a Hi Power that shoots anything you put in it, but my daily carry gun is a Glock 19. It's just hard to beat it's size and capacity.

I'll throw another vote towards the Glock landslide election.
I could easily become a BHP collector, dump a fortune into the variants as well as customization, and enjoy every minute of range time with them. But I'd still carry a G17/19, no question.

BHP vs Glock 17/19? Which and why? The Glock 19. It is lighter, more rust resistant, simpler manual of arms. I do like the BHP grip better than any other nine. The safety not so much. It is not positive enough for me.

I'm with Mannlicher on the CZ, choosing between those 2 only I'd take the Glock and learn to live with it (never like it though).

Glock 19, because the handful of people I know who truly do know WTF they're doing would carry that in preference to the BHP.
Having never shot anyone, I must rely on advice from others.

Glock 19! I don't like hammers on my CCW's.

Glock, because KevinGibson has wood for the BHP and that's creepy.
19, because awesome. +1 BHP's are great but Kevin Gibson sucks so I'd go with the Glock.

BHP vs Glock 17/19? Which and why? Not an answer to your question but...IMO if carrying a near full-size service pistol, there are even better choices. Obviously concealment would be somewhat of a concern, so why not go with something a bit smaller and get a SIG P228 or a Smith M&P Compact?
