I am the new proud owner of a Winchester Extreme weather in 300 WSM and started playing with Hunter and IMr4350 with 180-gr NAB's. Curious to what your go to loads are. Elk, deer, antelope, and targets is the end game. Thanks RL-22 with 180 AB's.

I'm a fan of the 200 gr bullets in my 300 WSM..... 68 grs of IMR 7828, 200 Accubond, Norma brass lit by a 215 primer = 2917 average of 3 shots SD 4.1....1/2" MOA at 100 yds I never played with seating depth...just loaded to fit the mag well on my CZ model 3 (Montana 1999)

Anyone try 150 tsx? the 168 gr seems popular here, I may have to give it a try.

I am a 150 gr bullet fan in both my 280's & 300 WSM's. The TSX or TTSX is too long to suit me in the 280's. Currently the 155 Scenar has my full attention in the 300 WSM's.
I am not a fan of monolithic bullets.

This one shoots very well out of my buddies M70 300WSM EW. WW cases, CCI250s, RL19, 2.900 COAL, 165 AB. Runs 3130 across my chrono.

I really need to find another 300 WSM... Need to find one in a EW for a decent price..
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

I am not a fan of monolithic bullets. Why? I don't care for the minimal expansion they most often exhibit.

I've used them exclusively for the last half dozen years and have yet to see one expand minimally. That's only a couple dozen animals ranging from coyote to elk between 140 and 511 yards, though.

I know mention was made about variable freebore. I am getting ready to start loading for a friends M70 fwt in 300wsm. Are they limited by magazine length or is a kiss generally doable with, say, 180 NABs or Partitions?

I would go with 180 Partitions and 64 grs H4350 or 65 grs R17.
2950 fps w/H4350 and 3000 fps w/R17.
That has to be the all-time best shooting 300 WSM load.
Substitute 175 SMK's for cheap practice.
