It was a good day fishing last Sunday. I caught and released this pike, which I estimated to be around 16.5 lbs. What lake were you on? Caught my first pike last fall up your way while visiting my son and his family.

Lake is Lac des Isles.
Boat is a 2001 Sylvan 1600 Expedition. Good boat but I'll need something bigger soon.

You northern guys make me a little jealous. I have never caught a pike, to far south.

Was out last weekend with a brother-inlaw and caught a couple of smallmouths each before we switched over to trout, landed 4-5 of them, all around 13-14". Not a bad morning!

We have caught bass out of Vaseux Lake, I think there is both smallmouth and largemouth in that lake. We managed to take in a few winery tours just south of there also, it is one of our favourite areas of the province.
