I have a 9mm AR-15 with a 7 1/2" barrel. Was given 5 lbs. of SR 4756 and have 12,000 Remington 115 gr. jacketed bullets and 3000 cases.

Looking at IMR pistol data they are calling for 6.3 gr. compressed of SR 4756 and a CCI primer. I put 6.3 gr. in a fired case and a bullet on top of the charge I get 1.152" OAL, just touching the powder, I think that is good for the burn rate of the powder and not worry about bullets being pushed depend in the cases feeding.

I will also shoot some in my Browning Hi-Power and Glock 26.

I haven't done it, but you've gotten no responses yet, so I guess I'll chime in that a buddy says it's his favorite powder for 9mm., but I believe he's going by what a friend of his has told him. That friend is a pretty sharp guy, so I thought I'd relate this, FWIW. I've heard others recommend or say they use it through the years as well, so it must be OK at the very least. Wish I could give you personal testimony, but with the lack of more responses, maybe this'll let you get started, at least?

I have been using 6.2 gn. of SR-4756 with a 115 gn. HP usually Sierra for years. Also use 11.0 gn. with a 240 cast in the 44 mag. It's basicly DuPont/IMR version of Unique.
