I had the guys at Piece build me this rifle. Got it last month and went to the range and shot Factory Hornady ammo with the 130 interlock bullet, not the superformance stuff. I shot 5 rounds with the first one on a clean barrel and four more that came in at 1/4 inch group. The rifle performs great and feels great also. This is a 270 win. that I will mainly use to hunt whitetails here in Alabama and Tenn.It has a #3 contour 24 inch Shilen barrel HS Stock and a timney trigger.

Not the titanium action. The gun still came in at 7lb 5 oz. without the scope. I have a friend who has one of their rifles and has told me I would not regret getting one, he was right I don't know why I waited so long to get it. I ordered the rifle in Jan 2015 and got it in march.

I shipped my Pierce Titanium to Brown Precision yesterday for an ultra light Kevlar stock. It has a #2 Shilen at 24.5" and a Jewell trigger. It is in 280AI. Brown is covered up and I have no idea as to when I will see it again.

That should come in around 6 1/4 lbs. I am very happy with the build the guys did at pierce.

Having spent many an hour in a hunting blind I had lots of time to think about my shooting irons. Determined I was displeased with commercial rifles overall and decided to use 100% custom components from that day forward. That was 2006. I took delivery on two customs Dec 2014.

I could not be happier.

The last photo is my octagon banded sight that I made for it. I was really proud of it. I did the metal work and James Anderson did the stock and rust blue.

Well,
It's first hunt killed an 11 point white tail at 215 yds. It does what I require of my hunting rifles. I want sub 1" shooting with clean barrel, dirty barrel, or whatever.
It is chambered in 6.5X47 Lapua.
