My daughter has an '03 two door Accord, there is no external trunk lock. The trunk lid is released from inside the car, the release is not working and she cannot gain access to the trunk. How do you release the trunk and what is the long term fix for this problem? Thanks for your help.

The rear seat in my 2003 (4 door) folded down allowing access to the trunk?

Don't know if this will help since it's a 2006, but might give you an idea of the problem.

Watch this youtube to get into the trunk. Why don't you do a search on the internet? Lots of info there.

Lower the back seat; pull the lever.

My '01 accord had a rear seat arm rest in the middle of the seat that folded up. When lowered you could reach into the trunk.

Also what 4ager said. The rear seat folded forward.

Hey, that will WAY over penetrate! I approve. On a related note, my Dad is driving up from Ontario this summer and bringing me my late grandfathers torch. Very excited, got lots of junk in the back of my property that I can torch up. I expect a large grass fire before the summers end.
