I got lucky this morning, but not the way I wanted.

It was quite a shot even though the distance was only 2-3 inches.
It's a bitch to shoot em in the noggin without hitting one of the wires in my cage trap.
Especially when the little bastid won't stop running around like a Rat in a trap. grin

Wonder if they make Conibears in his hat size?

Today I was doing the cage trap moving target at 2', but first, I looked around for some spectators. I killed them.
Then back to the cage trap. Like in boxing, put one in the body to slow them down, then you can plug 'em in the head.

I gotta shoot my squirrels that way with a pellet gun.

Its against city ordinance to shoot even a pellet gun in town, so I live trap them and take them to the garage( aka: my suppressor) close the door and 'transition them for relocation' grin

Thanks,,,, 2-3 inches is about it for me with a hand gun though.
Any more than that and my accuracy is impeded by my poor eye sight (and lack of hand eye coordination:).

And by "relocation" I'm assuming you mean skillet. smile

Sod-rat safari this weekend. Dogtown on our place along the Mussellshell is booming. This place was waist-deep grass a few years ago, looks like the moon now.

Ruger Predator 223 stoked with 50gr VMax. Missed a few but made it up with doubles.

We Call this Musselshell Madness. Different spot, but over on the Musselshell. They are eating up my cousin's ranch. I don't mind, but he does.
