I have a question. Did anyone ever produce a true round nose bullet in 224 diameter. I am aware of the semi pointed Sierra's and the Speer semi spitzer 70 grain? I saw a picture once of a Hornaday that was supposed to be a round nose but never saw it cataloged.

This is about as close as you will get is the Nosler Bonded Solid Base which is a protected point. Last weekend they shot 1" in my AR with IMR4895 and CCI 400 primers: http://www.nosler.com/bonded-solid-base-bullet/
