This one is kinda nice. 1957 336SC in .30-30. Scope is a Lyman 3X that was rebuilt and resealed by Parsons. Perfect deer combo out to 200 yds or so.

It's a fairly new rifle for me and is shooting well. I'm taking it to West TX this fall to chase some Aoudad.

Eric, you are just a damn good shot. Probably give those guys in your unit that are specialists a run for their money. I can't wait to see how the 338 shoots for you. One thing you'll notice about it vs. the 30-06 you got from me is it doesn't foul as quickly....Nice rifles you got there. I know the one on the left is a shooter as well wink

Pics give detail for rifle.

I like that rifle and scope combo! So classic. Are those Talley lows or super-lows?

MRC .375, built by Hill Country Rifles. I toyed with the idea of selling it awhile back. Glad I still have it.

Love the Sako...and Mr Shrapnel has a few. The little short-action ones are gorgeous. I'm down to just one Sako now, an AV lefty that I put a 3-9x Zeiss Conquest on today. Can't wait to zero it.

Sakos are known for good shooting, this one does too. It is a 6mm PPC...

Here's an AV in .25-06...one of my "never sell" rifles. A new 3-9x40mm Zeiss Conquest (one of the Conquest overruns from Euro Optics) is on top. I like this combo. If I were right-handed, I'd have a bunch of Sakos, just like Shrapnel.

Being a lefty is a bitch, but that is a good combination and a great picture...

Bob, being a leftie, too.. that rifle is just pure poetry.

Beautiful pre 64's, Sako's and other very nice rifles here and yet, I'm thinking about the sporterized/custom m1917 I saw the other day.... Grew up using/loving them and really miss the ones I've had and let go. For some reason, they are just too user friendly for me to not have at least 1 in the safe. The one I saw the other day won't sell in the shop either because there isn't another screwed up left handed m1917 user in these parts.... whistle
