All the mountain houses I've tried are very good when eaten on top of a hill after hiking all day. I'll bring some tortilla chips too and put them in the pouch. Very good.

I've brought table spoons of rice per meal in the past. No more. This year my fav has been the chicken patties and the mashed potatoes! Mountain house has this schitt dialed!

To contribute, mt house has a mexican brown rice dish that is ny new favorite. They have a fried rice and a roasted vegis, and a biscuits and gravy that i have not tested yet. They rock for backpacking....
