New member here out of Arizona - thanks for your help. smile

As an AZ native, I used to fish a lot with my dad as a kid in the early 90's, primarily in the stocked streams at and above Rim country. That was a long time ago, and I have no idea where to explore today. I am looking for direction / input on where to fly fish in Northern Arizona. I am just getting started (again), and appreciate your help.

Lees Ferry would be a top choice. Not much for creek fishing in NAZ. Upper Oak Creek for browns and stocker rainbows. From Red Rock Crossing to the Verde, you can get smallmouth, as you can in the Verde and Beaver Creek. Canyon Creek east of Payson is popular for fly fishing.

Some like to try for northern pike in Upper Lake Mary in the spring after ice-out.
