I had a nice conversation with a Hodgdon tech this AM about these two new powders. I'm looking for new combos for the .22-204 and .240 Wby. I was told that Hodgdon uses 48 blends of powder for their loadings form .222 to .458 Lott. And these are but two of those new powders.

Superperformance, reportedly, has a rather narrow application, mainly with light bullets in the .243/6mm class of ctgs. The .240 has too much case capacity to benefit.

100V Hybred is good for heavy bullets in the Short Mags and cases like the 7mm Rem Mag. He said it was good for all bullets in the 7mm RM from 100's to 175's.

I'm going to get a pound of each and see what I can come up with. Superperformance in a fast twist .22-204, may work with 75 gr. bullets. 100V Hybrid could work with heavy bullets in the .240 Wby. They didn't test the .240 Wby. because it's a small market and, of course, the .22-204 isn't yet on the radar screen.

Ruger, reportedly, is going to bring out their version of the .22-204 but with a looser chamber neck than the Pacific Tool reamer I'm using. That info is from my smith, not Hogdgon.

How temperature sensitive is Hybrid 100V?

Just one of many questions about these new powders. I'm not sure even they know, or would say.
