Anyone ever cut and rechamberd there rifle barrel after shooting out the throat and continued to shoot?. I have a 27" Lilja #7contour cal 224 that I am considering doing just that.

Common practice among target shooters. It can get you a lot more barrel life - if you catch it early enough.

With that fat profile, not a problem. Set it back, and when you do, ask for a custom throat job that gives you a short throat to start with, not SAAMI.
You can rip that thing down an inch at a time at least 3 or four times depending on how fat the shank happens to be.
I have cut back two 22 barrels with excellent long-term results, and I have a couple others waiting for "motivation."

take it to somone with a borscope to insure they can cut enough to remove erossion. somE barrels can shoot well with alot of erossion. i had a guy with 23k through 223 and had about 8 inches of wear. the rifle was still killing p dogs. but groups opened to over an inch. so we re barreled it to 20 TAC
