In my target. I loaded a few with as much rl26 as the case would take and stuffed a 80gr custom competition on top of it. I didn't have my chronograph to get a velocity. Impact was 1.5" above the pet load of rl15. I am not sure this rifle has ever shot that well. Time to get serious.

Never would have crossed my mind to run a powder that slow there.

How fast were you pushing the 80's with 15?

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

I'd be curious to hear what kind of speeds you end up getting

I was running 2750+/- @ 0* with rl15. I have not had a chance to run the 26 far enough to validate the velocity.

2,750? I musta missed the part where you were shooting a fast twist fireball!

Holy crap that is slow. You're leaving 400 fps on the table.

The temp really slowed my loads of 15 down. I was running near 2900 @ summer temperature.

That sucks.

Have you tried 8208xbr in it?

I never had much luck with RL 15 in the velocity department in my 223 AI. Accuracy has been good but I could never get enough 15 in the case to get much speed.
Leverevolution and CFE 223 have been best for my 223 AI and 75 grain bullets.

Do you think the cfe is the same stuff as Lever?

I don't think so. Burn rate seems really close though

I hear lever rocks, but doesn't show pressure well till it's too late.

If I could get 3k with the 80's and shoot into the 3's.....I'd be giddy.

You could push 3,100 with Lever pretty easy.

I require temp stability. I hunt front -15 to 100*

How's it working in that respect?

We only see low 20's to 110.

Haven't seen anything near what RL-15 was doing to you.

as a substitute for RL 15, try AR Comp, close burn rate, and temp insensitive...
