Ultra light arms 3 rifle set these were made in 1991 and are consecutive serial numbered.
All made of Model 40 actions.
First is a 340 wby 24" stainless barrel with Talley bases
Second is a 375 H&H 22" stainless barrel with Weaver bases
Third is a 416 Rigby 24" stainless barrel with a one of set of Titanium rings (No Scope)

Weight is 6lb 14oz
Lop 13.5”

These rifles have been hunted with so have a few scratches on stock etc. no major defects.
The 340 & 375 was sent back several years ago and had new recoil pads and paint. The 416 recoil pad is original and has seen better days.

I have heard all the jokes about the recoil but truly the stock design and muzzle break makes it very manageable. The breaks are removable if you desire.

A great safari rifle set the 375 has actually stopped a buff charge at 6 yds few years ago.

Keeping the set together.
$12,000 shipped for 3.

Will be adding more pics.

Would be a shame to split them. And I have 2 other 375s and a 338 win of Melvin’s so these just sit.

They aren’t making anymore there are about 7000 NULAs out there and that’s it.

Yeah that’s what Melvin was telling me when I talked to him yesterday. Probably about correct started in 1985 that’s alittle less than 200 a yr.

He also said there is about 7k CLRs out there I had no idea that many was produced.

i owned this 340 wby for a few years, didn't shoot it much but was the easiest rifle for load development and recoil was almost non existent, i didn't lose sight picture while shooting from a bench and 5000 ft lbs of muzzle energy. my ula 30-06 kicks harder than this 340wby. great African hunting trio, buy with confidence.

Wow. Is that CLR conversions or base CLR’s?

that's total colt light rifle production not conversions. 30-06 was the most produced followed by 7mm rem mag, 270 win and 300 win mag being the least produced. some of the early rifles had a odd bolt degree angle and limited some scopes from being mounted.

I'm kicking myself for not getting the 340 from ilikeguns when I had the chance, not as happy with the 338WM I settled on as I thought I'd be.

How many of the CLR conversions did Melvin do? A good rifle to be had?
