Which 6x scope do you most recommend? I used to own a k6 weaver on a 35 gibbs and was quite happy with it. My present set up is a 2-7x32 elite 3200 on a 284 winchester that has held to some hard use over 6 or 7 yrs. It finally fogged up on me this november so I sent it away for repair. But now I am thinking of simplifying and just going back to a 6x. I find it doesnt matter whether I am shooting a sheep/goat at 250 yards or more, or a deer in timber at 80 yds, I always crank the scope to 7x before the shot. So mabye a simple, tough, lightweight 6x is the way to go. Mule Deer, Do the weavers use the Meade Optics improved erector tubes that you wrote about?
