Anyone know what the weight difference would be between a one-piece Redfield mount with rings compared to Talley lightweights???

About 4.6oz on my scale.
Long action base and Extended Talleys.

The Redfield one piece steel mounts are about as heavy as you can get without going to a tactical style rail.

I just replaced a Redfield one piece base and low rings-7.3 oz. with Talley one piece low rings-2.2 oz.
Lost 5.1 oz.

Thanks for these answers. It is helpful. Merry Christmas all.

It really depends on the rings. High rings will weigh more than low's etc. But I found about the same. My Talleys weighed 2.5 oz. The steel rings and bases I have weighed went 5-6 oz.
