I am thinking about picking up a copy of Veral's book. For those of you that have it (and read it), did you benefit from it? Would you recommend it?

Yes and definitely yes. I would recommend it as required reading for serious cast bullet shooters.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

x2. very informative book, his work is based on experimentation and what works. I learned a lot from it, and it helped make me a better caster. as a result, I have used my 03A3 with cast 150's as a squirrel rifle where safe to do so, making head shots past 50 yds with the iron sights. it's a lot of fun.

Buy it. Read it, many many times.
It's the best kind of manual. No reloading data. Some criticize Veral for bragging.
It's not bragging if you really can do it.
