Anybody know when they are to draw? What are they waiting for anyway? It can't be that difficult to figure out how many animals you have and how many licenses you can issue by area. It is getting late.

Antelope, deer and elk don't get drawn until mid August. You just have to wait. At 2% interest on that money from the applications, the state of Montana can easily earn thousands$$$, why hurry?

I think John is right on the Mid-July...I KNOW you are right on the interest...odd how the drawings take place one fiscal quarter after the applications go in.... whistle

If you do draw a 'loper permit the chances of getting a decent buck will be difficult due to the loss of numbers from last winter. I would look at Wyoming for left over tags. MTG

Actually, I'm just hoping for a point, not a tag.

Too bad you can't just buy a point here..

No matter when they draw my chances are looking pretty dim. The area I put in for went down to 10 tags total due to the winter kill.
