Been sort of an average season so far, but lots of fun despite the weather. Been challenging, in particular when you choose to not tear the chit out of the roads. Managed to make the most of the days in between the storms and/or hiking from the blacktop.

Did a quick 2 day deer/bear hunt. Saw 14 bears in 2 days, shot this one with my new 7-08 and 140 accubonds:

Next was helping a friend from AK with his 2 bucks:

I shot one on my additional tag as well:

Next was some friends from AZ, the pronghorns took it on the chin:

I watched these antelope most all season and they didnt get hunted...perfect for my buddy Ron:

My buddy Monty shot this guy the next day:

Later the same day, another AZ friend shot this one. I lasered it at 397 and he punched a bullet through the heart with his 257 wby:

The next day my wife shot this one at 50 yards with her 7-08:

A couple days ago I found this one, couldnt resist with the crooked horn. Unusual bucks rarely make it long enough to even interest me, most are shot when they're young. Shot with 7-08 140 accubonds at 50 yards.

Headed out in the morning for elk hunting...the Wyoming wildife is suffering from the furlough, and with no end in sight, its going to get even more grim.

Nice color phase bear Buzz. Do you eat the bear meat? Never tried it myself.

I like that crooked horn buck. Helping friends with a hunt is more fun the shooting my own. Kudos.

Well done Buzz - you do have the antelope thing dialed in - really like that one your wife got. If you have any other pictures of that one I'd sure like to see them.
Congrats to all for some fine bucks!!

Good job Buzz, I am rather enjoying the furlough myself. I took a smaller 4X4 muley and a good buck antelope before Oct 1.

I took a raghorn bull on the third day of "vacation", then headed for the Bitterroot where I have been rather hard on the mountain grouse since. I still have two doe/fawn antelope tags plus a cow tag, but with as many critters as there are near LaBarge, it won't be too hard to fill those tags. I also have the 240-40 muley tag here in the Bitterroot, but will wait until the end of the season for that.

It's goona be a good year...

As per usual Buzz, your adventures always seem to end up with smiling hunters posing over critters.

Thanks for sharing.

Very nice work Buzz! That color phase bear is beautiful!

Ron's buck looks to have pretty deep prongs?

50 yds on a PH is good huntin! Love it!
