I've learned that hornady has discontiued it's 6.5 or .264 160gr round nose bullet! for those of you who love that long sexy bullet, send hornady an email and let em know that we still want it back! I've send my request in, so all you swede and mannlicher, carcano, and you magnum 6.5 or .264 remington & winchester shooters unite! not every thing should be a spitzer! 6.5's forever!!!!

I believe Sierra discontinued theirs too a few years back. There are still the Woodleigh 160's, and the Lapua Mega 156's though.

Woodleighs are on my list to gun something with. Accurate as heck with an 8 twist.

The Woodleighs have a good BC too compared to the other heavy 6.5's which were round nosed.

Just for clarity's sake, the carcano is not a .264 bore, though they can be used - accuracy may suffer. Hornady still makes a bullet for that cartridge..... Kaiser Norton

I believe we 'learned' the same rumor some months or years ago as well. The .264 160 RN bullet is still listed on the Hornady website. http://www.hornady.com/store/.264-6.5mm/?page=2

If you want a heavy 6.5 try the 156 grain norma oryx.
