I would like to add some people to the Ignore list. I've heard folks talking about this being done but I can't figure out how to do it.

If someone knows I'd appreciate it.

Click on the person's name above their avatar (if they have one). Choose the "view profile" link. That will take you to their page with their information. There should be an "ignore this user" button on that page. Click on it and you're good to go.

Nah, you're still on the good list. I might want to go hunting in Maine someday. wink

I will try to let less of my inner darkness out henceforth.

Ask a bunch of questions, don't agree with the answers and then put em on ignore.

Nah man, it's the guys who are straight-up trashing me in the one thread that I put on ignore.

I don't ignore the ones I disagree with, just the ones who say things about me that I wouldn't say to my worst enemy.

I'll suggest continuing to let the darkness out, but in a way that will be beneficial for you.

The 'Fire may be cathartic, but not so therapeutic, IMO.

I wish you the best as you work your way through this difficult time.......I was once in a bad marriage myself. That was years ago and my second marriage has brought me great happiness.

The first one brought me my daughter, and for that I would not change a thing!

Derek, I have to tell ya, with your avatar, your posts and your replies to posts, there will be a whole lotta folks following those "How to Ignore" instructions on you.

Because, bud, you come across as just plain spooky/scary/psycho.

I will take those suggestions to heart.

Any specific issues with my responses that make me seem psycho?

I'll try to modify them either through edit or from here on out.

One more thing Derek, and then I'll stay out of this thread.

Depression is an illness and needs to be treated for you to recover. Just as the 'Fire can't help you with, say diabetes, you should seek good medical help and not stop until you find someone who actually helps you.

I think it's especially hard this time of year to deal with depression with the holidays and the short days.

Good luck.

Derek (and I'm saying this constructively, Campfire guy to guy), your avatar is bizarre, your sig line would light up a Homeland Security warning, you post fantasies about burning your own car and I can't begin to list the warning bells your posts set off.

Frankly, editing your words after the fact is tantamount to bolting fire extinguishers to the carcass of the Hindenburg.

I am confident that this is a passing phase. Heck, we all go through periods of dark thought, weird comments and odd actions. May you emerge from this soon as a better man.

I just changed my sig line...I took the avatar down, but Photobucket has been dragging on confirming my new avatar as being available for viewing.

Hopefully that will make people less apprehensive about me.

I'm not a professional(nor did I stay at a HIE last night) but after a few minutes discussing guns and life in a parking lot my overall impression was he's a decent person going thru some difficult times.

Figured as much.

Doubt some people will be happy unless we string him up and kick him in the balls(which I'm sure it probably already feels like to him with some of these responses I've read in recent threads).
