Remember when B-1 Bob Dornan said essentially the same thing back in the early 80s, but with a bit more flourish, and got banned from the well of the House for 24 hours? That was pretty funny.
I don't remember who was bellyaching about Bambi and Donald Duck being endangered by horrible hunters with terrible guns, but it was some self-righteous, attitudinous black woman on the order of Sheila Jackson-Lee; B-1 Bob interrupted her and hollered, "The Second Amendment isn't about going into the woods and shooting Bambi! It's about coming to Washington and shooting politicians!"
Or something along those lines.
