Any pointers, tips or pictures.. Also should I bed the recoil lug in the stock permanently or use the dab of superglue so I can still takeit apart or use metal set and permanently mount it to the barrel.

Thanks for the info

What are you bedding it into, factory or aftermarket stock? Two different methods depending...

On your gun I would use a drop of superglue, and I would not tape lug anywhere like on a traditional Remington, etc.

Apply release agent liberally to lug and surrounding metal. Not a lot of area to bed at rear of receiver. I would apply some putty etc so the bedding doesn't come in contact with trigger group. I left the trigger on in past Tikka bedding jobs. I just masked off the trigger with tape to protect it from any overflow.

Also, careful with the bedding around the bolt release. There is a pin that sticks down into a slot on the side of the stock, you don't want any bedding in that area. Don't really need to go that far forward with bedding compound anyway.
