At the beginning of the week I picked up a new Sig P238 and really liked it. Today the gun show was in town and I bought a LNIB S&W 1911 SC. Two new guns in the same week. My girlfriend was ok with the Sig purchase. I haven't told her about the 1911 purchase yet. I am suppose to be looking at engagement rings. I won't say anything if y'all don't. NICE looking shootin irons. Does your girlfreind already have access to your accounts and info like that? Do you still have the cash for a good engagement ring? If no and yes, you are golden. If any other answers, not so much....
When my wife of now 4.5 yrs and I were dating and engaged, I bought lots of toys and told her about them and how much I paid. Was 'setting the stage" and parameters for later. Kept that up for a couple of years after marriage and it was all good until I got sick and had to quit working a while back.

take her to the range and make her a shooter. if she starts to like it, works for you. if she doesn't still works for you 'cause you got good irons.

Coyoteman I've run into that same problem myself. I just ran across a Rem 700 Mtn rifle that's hiding in the gun safe till it's safe to come out.
