It came to a total of $319.50 w/ shipping. Got a VM-2 holster, a nice 1.5 inch belt and an IWB clip pouch. First the complaints. Oh, wait it's complaint, not pural. The gun prints a touch more readily than it did carried w/o a holster in the so called Calvary Style. Now the good stuff. Best quality holster and belt I've ever tried on - period. Easily better made than the Don Hume stuff I have. Which is very good, BTW. I'd say better designed too. For instance, the snaps that hold the IWB holster in place have built in spacers to accomondate one's belt. The beefiest snaps I've ever seen on leather holsters or the clip pouch. The gun is tight, but the draw is smooth w/o any hesistation at the start. Easily holds the gun in it when turned upside down. Reholstering is a snap. Something Calvary Style carry does not have. The belt is another wonder. Carries the weight of the 28 oz. gun so well it doesn't drag downward on the gun side at all. Heck, I'm using this belt for field carry. It, for darn sure, will handle alot more weight than my 220 SIG. I learned a long time ago that quality leather and belts can make a world of difference in solid, secure and comfortable carry of a handgun. This stuff is easily the best I've ever seen. Thanks for all of you who talked me into this. Some of the best gun money I've ever spent. And that after just an hour or so with this rig. E

You are going to enjoy that Versa Max, they are great holsters. I started buying Milt Sparks stuff back in 1970 when I first came out of the service. Tony has kept with the same quality. Met Milt at a gun show in Pocatello (Idaho) in 71 or 72, nice guy!

Top notch stuff. Next up order a 55BN for OWB carry. Might be the most comfortable holster I've ever worn and conceals pretty good on its own(with a longer shirt).

Congrats E. The ONLY negative thing any honest man can say about Milt Sparks holsters is the painful wait in line. But it's still worth it.

Congrats on your Milt Sparks rig, im honestly envious. I really need to invest in some quality carry systems in a bad way and it would be nice to have Milt Sparks quality.

In addition to their quality, the pricing is very fair too. Just get in line, forget about it, and let the clock run down.

I was ruined for any other holster after first discovering the Milt Sparks IWBs about ten years ago, in my case the VM II and the Exec Comp. I have about a dozen of them. Every once in a while someone talks me into saving a few bucks and getting something else they swear by, but the difference is so obvious to me that I quickly abandon it and order a Milt Sparks. Nothing compares. Congratulations. PS I just this past Monday put my order in for an Exec Comp for my P220 and a matching mag pouch, which I'll receive in about five months.

Jason, What kind of wait time are we looking at for Sparks' stuff? About five months at this point, but they only take orders for the first two or three days of each month, in order to keep that backlog that short.

I am thinking hard about one of their VM? series, I think it is, for my G19. Sounds as if it would be the last holster I would ever have to buy. Made in Idaho, also! Thanks for the info, Chris.

Hands down, my favorite, most practical holster, the 55BN. This holster has some miles on it, and travels every day to work with me, as a spare gun(G19) in my kit bag.

Thanks Mackay ! And thanks again for convincing me that they are worth every penny. E Hey E, I LOVE spending other peoples money! ! They are a stellar product and well worth the wait. When you think about it, a 6 month wait for a holster you may wear for 40 years is nothing. When you wear a gun for a living, like some folks do, it makes even more sense to invest a little more. BTW, Here is a "Wall o' Sparks!
