OP tbear99 Campfire Outfitter T Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 8,625 UPSTATE NY	well i ordered one of the colt 100 yr annv. model 1911 well i got it 2 days.My wholesaler said it was the first one and only one they got so far.looks great with a lower ser # of 018x.Here are couple pics i took to show it to you guys. the bad news is i live in ny and colt didn't supply a casing for the pistol so i have to bring it to the cobis center to have them fire a round so they get their case DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR I LOVE MY COUNTRY IT'S THE GOV'T I FEAR

Of course should just lube it up and shoot it and enjoy it. Just that nagging thought of, these are the closest to a "new" original 1911 as exists, which feels kinda strange to break-in.
