I've had one on a Kimber 82 for about 15 years and never noticed any eye placement issues with it. Eye relief is about 3 inches at 12 power and exit pupil is sufficient even in the field. This is the second one I've had, lost the first one in a fire. I would buy another.
I looked through the fixed 6x version of this today and it had no eyebox issues whatsoever. I don't understand how the guy at Chuck Hawks' website had such trouble with this scope.
I retired from the Johns Manville asbestos pop tart factory in ‘59, and still never made the connection.—-Slumlord
