I just paid $470 for a 453 varmint at my lgs (very fair lgs at that)
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

I will be taking it to the Shilen Swap Meet this weekend. I have an offer for $375+Shipping. That tells me what it is worth. Thanks

I have one of these that I bought new back when they were $200.
This one has well over 30,000 rounds thru it ( would have to check my record log on it to be exact)... but it is still as accurate as the day I brought it home..
I run Walmart bulk ammo thru it.. and it is capable of still doing head shots on sage rats at 125 yds all day long, with a proper rest and a good scope on top..
So whoever picks this rifle up from Butch, they are still purchasing quite a tack driver..
I wouldn't sell mine for twice what Butch is willing to sell his for...

I'd sure let it for for $375 plus shipping. That's about the suggested retail for the rifle.
